    Big and lively

Posted by Lisa P. on 13th Jul 2016

The star is much bigger than I thought it would be. It spent the fist day in its new home hiding beneath a piece of live rock but has now started to show itself once in a while. Very cool creature.

    Very healthy and active

Posted by Charles on 3rd Oct 2013

These are some of the most active starfish I have ever had. Especially at night when I have a red light to view them. They are ever brave enough to goto the top of the water to get food when I feed the tank. They climb the glass like spiderman!

This guy was small but awesome. I adds a very nice touch to the tank. May order a couple more someday soon.

    two orders

Posted by Dan Dwire on 12th Jul 2013

I set up my tank for seahorses, although they have a little company - snails, hermits, and a starfish and they are doing great. They popped out a few young as soon as I took them out of the bag and they are also doing great. I hope to order more soon. My sons named the starfish Patrick. Imagine that!

Got my brittle starfish in. He acclimated quickly and is happily making his home in my live rock. Great size! I'm very happy with this purchase!

    Not so hardy for me.

Posted by Unknown on 23rd Dec 2012

I've had several brittle stars. Water specs are correct. Temperature is good. They can be damaged in shipping and I've had them shed legs/arms within days. Could be one of the "reef safe" fish or the arrow crab is getting them but I've not caught them in the act and the hermits clean up most evidence quickly.
