Dwarf Seahorse Colored Male, Red, Green, Yellow

Colors come in red, green, yellow, and black.  Just request a color and I will do my best to get it.

Dwarf Sea Horse - Scientific name Hippocampus Zosterae

It may be best if these little guys are in a tank just for them so they do not have to compete for food. I recommend feeding them newly hatched brine shrimp with the Artemia species being the best quality. I would also suggest a tank with a low current and no coral. If they attach to coral it may burn them.

The picture posted here doesn't do them justice. The green is a lovely spring-green and yellow is a very bright, solid yellow. I am dead excited to have them! They show up very well against the red macro algaes and purple gorgonians.

I bought two males, and I requested them to be black. I received 3 black male seahorses, and one tan female. I realized one of the males was mated to the female when they hung onto eachother with their tails and stayed near to eachother. I am very excited-all three males are pregnant! I expect babies in the next 5 days. Overall great! I am in love with this site-cheap shipping, great prices, awesome customer service, what wouldn't you love? I have had dwarf seahorses for 3 months now, and received these 1 day ago. Healthy and active!

if you need to slow your water I found putting a brine shrimp net over the outflow evened out the rate of water flow to where the sea horses could manage better
