Blue Hippo Tang Small

Blue Hippo Tangs require a larger aquarium to provide plenty of swimming room. They are aggressive toward its own species, but peaceful towards other fish in the tank. If you must have multiple tangs in the same aquarium introduce like species at once. Although Tangs will eat meaty foods along with the other fish in the aquarium, it is important that they are offered plenty of marine based seaweed and algae. By strengthening their immune system, their overall aggression will be reduced and improve their overall health. Offer dried seaweed tied to a rock or use a veggie clip, and feed at 3 to 5 times per week.

Jason was so awesome to work with I e-mailed him asking for a Hippo Tang to added to a big order and he went out of his way and got one. But when he got it he called me about it because he was not too happy with the way it looked and asked me if I wanted it still. I said sure because this way I don’t have to pay more shipping and Jason also said that if I have any problems with it to let him know. After I got it I saw what he was talking about. Dory which is what my wife calls her was not swimming when I got her. I did a drop and Slow Air for about two Hours. Then put her in my Tank. She started to swim very little. Then she found a spot in the Rock and laid down. I think she is going to be ok. Because she does come out every once in a while. Thanks Janson for all your help and standing by your Fish.
