Atlantic Blue Tang (Small) juvenile 1-2.5 inch

The Blue Tang could be considered the definitive fish of saltwater aquariums. The Pacific Yellow Tang is a constant swimmer that will glide throughout your aquarium acting as a local aquarium tour guide. It is best to be in an aquarium of at least 30 gallons or larger with plenty of room to swim. Like other Tangs, it demonstrates territorial aggression towards its own species. It would be best to keep just one Blue Tang per aquarium, unless they are introduced into the system simultaneously. Although the Blue Tang will eat meaty foods along with the other fish in the aquarium, it is important the Blue Tang be offered plenty of marine based seaweed and algae. The Blue Tang is an extremely popular, and hardy addition to any aquarium system.

    Active and healthy

I order three of these tangs and they all came in healthy. They didn’t not like the acclimation process but quickly perked up when put in the aquarium. They have a beautiful, eye catching yellow color with blue accents. They get along with their tank mates ( blue angelfish, bluehead wrasse, four-eyed butterflies, royal gramma) and aren’t afraid to come up to the glass and say hi to you. They stick together with each other in their own little school and are always out and about.

After hiding for a bit after acclimating he's been out and about since. Loves swimming in and out of the rocks and has definitely made his presence known to the rest of his reef mates.
