Chainlink Moray

"Echidna catenata"

The Chainlink Moray requires a larger aquarium where it may find shelter between rocks and corals. This eel will spend the majority of its day hiding, and typically searches for it's food in the evening.

The Chainlink Moray performs best when fed 2 or 3 live meals per week. You may feed them grass shrimp or small fish. If at first it does not eat the food you offer, using a feeder stick, pierce a live or thawed shrimp or fish and place it near the eel's head.

    Impressive Eel

Posted by William Bissonnette on 9th Feb 2019

The eel I received was approximately 12" long. Color pattern was impressive. The eel ate frozen prepared food on the first day, no need to transition from live. The pictured item did no justice to the beautiful eel I received.
