Common Seahorse Pair- The Male is Pregnant

Hippocampus Erectus

a male and female about 4-6 inches.

The male is pregnant. Common Sea Horses are wild caught.  It is best to have live food for ready for them you receive them.  Often I have them trained to eat frozen gut loaded with SELCO BOOST.  I also suggest having that product on hand to offer what they have been used to getting.

I am thrilled. The pair arrived and within 2 hours he gave birth. These seahorses are perfect and so healthy. They are loving the tank and swimming and eating brine shrimp.

Thank you so much for making this a wonderful experience.

Had an issue with bad shipping from weather or handling, and my pair died . Jason replaced both of them. I have the most beautiful white female now, gorgeous male, and I love my other erectus. I purchased a few weeks ago. She's quite amazing. I've also purchased 10 dwarfs a couple weeks ago, and now they have multiplied from all the pregnant ones I got. They are all absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend this place! I only wish there was a space here to add photos, because they are breathtaking!

these arrived in good health, full grown and pregnant, in fact so pregnant that they gave birth while i was acclimating them...100 plus babies...they are in their own tank now and chasing after the fresh hatched live baby brine and dad are doing fine too...they share a 55 gal. tank with other slow moving mellow species...a little lethargic the first day, but now up and moving around...highly recommended
