Dwarf Octopus

Size.................Usually about 3-5" legs spread. Head size about 1".  All the  dwarf octopus we get here will be happy in a 10 gallon tank or less.

Important Notes............In shipping they are very sensitive and will sometimes ink or just die before arriving. Also they are very sensitive to new water and need a VERY slow one to two hour acclimation. We will replace the octopus if we get a picture of the DOA. Since we do not charge shipping we can not cover that.

Reef safe.................Not reef safe. Love to eat crustaceans and small fish.

Diet...........Will eat just about everything in your tank. Larger fish usually OK

Compatibility.............Best in a sealed (they will climb out) tank by themselves. Make great pets and are very hardy. Acclimate very slowly. Sensitive to some synthetic salts.

How Common to this area.............Usually have them in stock Febuary to May. The rest of the year they are hard to get.

    Dwarf octopus

Received my little dwarf octopus in this week and arrives healthy and active and has made a nice little niche in one of the live rocks. Haven't noticed him eating any of the crabs yet or other food but im sure once he is settled in he'll be eating. Very satisfied with this purchase! Best price on the web!

cant really tell he hasnt came out yet

OuhuuuuI've written multiple emails with no answer received it 2 days ago and acclimated it accordingly. Octopus arrived with a shell in the bag that it used to hide in so I placed the shell and everything in the tank with him. He has yet to leave the shell although he has moved around the tank with the shell. Is this normal? I don't know, I've sent numerous emails w questions and have received no answers. Also needed to know the water perimeters that it was accustomed to and got no answer. Other that that , so far so good
