French Angelfish (Large 5-7 inches)

The French Angelfish requires at least a 50 gallon aquarium with lots of hiding places and live rock for grazing. This fish is prone to nip at stony and soft corals and clam mantles. If the French Angelfish is to be added to a peaceful community, it should be the last fish introduced.  They get along with most other fish but not with other angels. They are hermaphroditic, this leads to being very difficult to breed in an aquarium. The diet should consist of marine algae, high-quality angelfish preparations, mysis or frozen shrimp, and other high-quality meaty items.

    So beautiful

Posted by Stephen Blum on 17th Dec 2016

The French Angel was in good shape upon arrival despite a fin puncture through both bags about midway through the bags. UPS handled the fish very poorly and the Styrafoam boxes were smashed along the sides of both boxes allowing water to escape and soak the cardboard box. I would recommend Jason use a bag similar to that Liveaquaria uses where an additional sheet of vinyl connected at the top extending three quarters down takes care of punctures. The fish was gorgeous great color and size. The fish is eating primarily New Life Spectrum pellets and is doing great. Jason is a wonderful source of very highly prized fish. I have purchased in the past from Foxy and never been disappointed.

    Show Size saltwater fish

Posted by Melvin Coleman on 23rd Feb 2014

As a 30+ years aquarium hobbyist. I know how difficult it is to find Show Size saltwater fish. It's great to finally find a business that can consistently offer show size fish, and at 1/3 of retail price. I look forward to many more transactions in the future.
