French Angelfish (Small 1.5 - 3 inches)

The French Angelfish requires at least a 50 gallon aquarium with lots of hiding places and live rock for grazing. This fish is prone to nip at stony and soft corals and clam mantles. If the French Angelfish is to be added to a peaceful community, it should be the last fish introduced.  They get along with most other fish but not with other angels. They are hermaphroditic, this leads to being very difficult to breed in an aquarium. The diet should consist of marine algae, high-quality angelfish preparations, mysis or frozen shrimp, and other high-quality meaty items.

She was active and full of color from the second I opened the box to the minute I released her into my display tank. Looked perfectly healthy and had zero quarantine time. She also ate frozens on day two. Beyond satisfied, will return for more!

    Beautiful French Angel

Posted by Dave S. on 22nd Mar 2017

I purchased a Queen and a French Angel one week ago, and they are both beauties. I was nervous about ordering fish online, because you never know what your going to get. But these two fish were unbelievably beautiful. I have them in my QT tank now and they are eating very well. Can't wait to put them in my show tank.
