Exactly the size I was hoping for. They quickly dug into the sand and went to work.
These crabs are very common around Long Island, but I can never find babies to keep. The one I received was just the right size. It seems to spend an inordinate amount of time hiding - I expected it to be a plow keeping the sand stirred up - but when it does come out it's a curiosity for sure!

These little guys are awesome! I bought 2 of them separately and they keep the tank clean, grow fast and are neat little creatures! Every reef tank should have at least 1. A++

Both arrived healthy and happy and active. They seem to be doing a really good job of keeping my sand stirred up and, even though I don't see them much anymore, I see a lot of under-gravel movement so I know they are there doing their jobs.
