Spotted Sweetlips (medium 3-5")

The Spotted Sweetlips are a wonderful addition to your tank. They can grow up to almost three feet in length, so it needs a larger tank to provide it with ample swimming room and plenty of hiding places. They do well with most tank mates but not usually same species. They are considered reef safe but they are not invertebrate safe. When first introduced into the aquarium, live brine shrimp are suggested and should be used to entice the fish to eat. Once it has acclimated, most marine carnivore preparations will be acceptable. They will turn darker as they mature.
