French Grunt

The French Grunt (Haemulon flavolineatum) is a mix of bold yellow and silver, with sleek horizontal stripes that shimmer as it moves. These fish love to school, creating a striking display when kept in groups. Reaching up to 12 inches, they do best in spacious tanks with plenty of rock structures.

Bluestriped Grunt

Easily recognized by its electric blue stripes running across a golden-yellow body, the Bluestriped Grunt (Haemulon sciurus) is as flashy as it is active. Growing up to 14 inches, these fish are strong swimmers that prefer open water with spots to dart in and out of when needed.

Caring for Grunt Fish
