We’re a family-run business proudly located in the Florida Keys.

I’m Jason Fox (that’s me up above!). I own and operate Foxy Saltwater Tropicals alongside my dedicated team: Arynne, Codey, and Leo.

Having grown up in the Florida Keys, I have an unwavering passion for the ocean. This love has inspired me to create a successful marine life business, enabling me to pursue my passion while helping aquarium enthusiasts across the United States enhance their tanks with high-quality, hand-collected marine life.

Approximately 90% of our Atlantic products are gathered by our team, which minimizes stress on the marine life. Our fish journey directly from the ocean to our holding tanks and finally to your door. We maintain our fish in medicated systems treated with Copper and Nitrofuracin Green to prevent potential bacterial infections.

We typically hold our fish for 7-10 days before shipping to ensure their well-being.

Unlike many businesses that may use harmful chemicals or subject fish to mistreatment during lengthy transport, we prioritize direct sourcing. By eliminating the middleman, we significantly increase the survival rate of our marine life.

Recently, we’ve begun importing select items from around the globe, and we’re excited to expand our offerings to provide you with even more options for your tanks!

Please bear in mind that most days, I’m out on the water collecting marine life. If you call or email multiple times, rest assured, you’re not being overlooked by a faceless customer service team. I strive to respond by that night or the following morning. If it takes a bit longer, there might be an issue, so feel free to reach out again.

Running a direct-to-consumer business is demanding but rewarding. My days are filled with collecting marine life, maintaining tanks, communicating with customers, and packing orders. I genuinely love what I do, and I’m fully committed—seven days a week. As the saying goes, “If you love what you do, it’s not work.”
