Dwarf Octopus

Size.................Usually about 3-5" legs spread. Head size about 1". All the dwarf octopus we get here will be happy in a 10 gallon tank or less.

Important Notes............In shipping they are very sensitive and will sometimes ink or just die before arriving. Also they are very sensitive to new water and need a VERY slow one to two hour acclimation. We will replace the octopus if we get a picture of the DOA. Since we do not charge shipping we can not cover that.

Reef safe.................Not reef safe. Love to eat crustaceans and small fish.

Diet...........Will eat just about everything in your tank. Larger fish usually OK

Compatibility.............Best in a sealed (they will climb out) tank by themselves. Make great pets and are very hardy. Acclimate very slowly. Sensitive to some synthetic salts.

How Common to this area.............Usually have them in stock Febuary to May. The rest of the year they are hard to get.
