Milk Conch Snail (Macrostrombus costatus)
Formerly known as Strombus costatus or Lobatus costatus, the Milk Conch Snail is a large, peaceful herbivorous snail with a beautifully sculpted shell and subtle cream coloration. Native to Caribbean reefs and sandy seagrass beds, Milk Conchs graze on algae and detritus, helping keep your aquarium clean while adding a natural, elegant presence. Hardy and low-maintenance, they thrive in established tanks with plenty of sand to move across and are best suited for large reef or fish-only aquariums.
