The Queen Angelfish (Holacanthus ciliaris) is one of the most stunning fish in the Caribbean, famous for its brilliant blue and yellow coloration and distinctive crown-like markings. Our Queen Angelfish are hand collected and carefully selected for their beauty and condition.
Native to Caribbean reefs, Queen Angelfish are active, confident swimmers that need plenty of open space, live rock, and hiding places. They are best suited for experienced saltwater hobbyists with large, mature aquariums. This species can be territorial and is not considered reef safe, as it may nip corals, sponges, and other sessile invertebrates.
Queen Angelfish thrive on a varied diet of marine algae, spirulina, mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, chopped seafood, and quality prepared foods.
